The new concept gentlemen’s salon Davey Davey Men’s is now open for business. Opened since mid-October the salon provides a new experience for the male clientele of Dublin. I popped in for a look last week and was greeted by Paul himself who offered me a freshly brewed coffee and the chance to rest my tired legs on one of the super comfy couches they have in their man-cave-esc waiting area. While I was waiting I got to flick through the latest copies of Esquire and GQ, take in some top notch tunes and browse through some of the very stylish clothing accessories that they have on sale in the salon, I almost forgot I was in there to get a haircut, which is the beauty of the place, it provides a welcomed break from the hustle and bustle of the surrounding City…

Incorporating contemporary, cool yet inviting surroundings the salon has that distinct manly feel to it, like a barber shop of the future. Their stylists are all highly trained and will offer current and contemporary haircutting rather than traditional barbering. Services will also include colouring, shaving, head massages, wedding services, a drinks menu and additional services that will be announced shortly.
They guys were also delighted to announce that they will be selling the famous London Peckham Rye brand exclusively along with Brown Thomas offering clients the chance to buy men’s accessories including tie clips, cuff links, neck scarves, socks and braces…
It will surely become a one stop shop for all things man! A place to add the finishing touches to that perfect Friday night outfit.
