With Christmas only a few weeks away, Santa has started to appear in various places around town, so if you want to meet him in person, here are our 5 Santa sightings in Dublin Town.
Stephen’s Green Shopping Centre:
- Santa’s first sighting was on the top floor of the Stephen’s Green Shopping Centre just off Grafton Street.
- He and his helpers have been rumoured to be handing out gifts and wishes to all the boys and girls of Dublin from 10 to 5.
- Seeing as Santa is very busy this time of year, we think it would be best to try and visit him earlier in the day to meet him.

Jervis Shopping Centre:
- Santa’s second sighting is in the Jervis Shopping Centre alongside Abbey Street Upper and across from Wolfe Tone Park.
- Not only is Santa meeting everyone in the Jervis Centre, but apparently his elves can help kids learn to use magic to create their very own ‘magic snow storm’.

Ilac Shopping Centre:
- Santa’s third sighting is in his magical cabin nestled in Dunnes Stores at the Ilac Centre.
- Santa will be giving out age-appropriate gifts to all the children who visit him, and seeing as he is Santa, he’ll already know what the kids want for Christmas.
- But he is very, very busy so he would appreciate an online booking so he can plan his seasonal schedule.
Powerscourt Townhouse Centre:
- Santa’s fourth sighting is in the Powerscourt Townhouse Centre.
- He will be taking photos, giving out gifts and accepting donations to charity.
Croke Park:
- Santa’s fifth and final sighting is in the GAA Museum in Croke Park.
- He has brought the North Pole GAA team with him and would love it if you could help them get ready for their journey on Christmas Eve.
- After you have played the festive skills games, you can meet Mr & Mrs. Clause, take your picture with them and give them your 2026 All-Ireland predictions.

So there it is, from iconic shopping centres to iconic stadiums, Santa sure knows how to spread the Christmas cheer.
And from us here at Dublin Town, Merry Christmas.
