Inspiration – His friends pushing him to be better, to take the step to further his legacy, and how he now wants to inspire others to do the same.Chapter 4
In this minute right now – Looking back on his journey across the previous three chapters. He’s taken a long time to be standing here, in the final of Bacardi Legacy. He chose to use Bacardi Cuatro as the base for his entry. He chose this particular blend of Bacardi because it’s aged four years, and it’s Bacardi Cuatros first year to be eligible for entry in the Legacy competition, just like Stephen’s, as it was only released last year. He then worked this into the naming of his cocktail.
It’s texture is smooth and leaves your mouth awash with a feel of silk. The tastes of the carefully selected ingredients successively hit your taste buds confidently. Upon first glance you may be unsure of how well these ingredients may go together, but take it from us, these fresh and creative tastes work together harmoniously.
The experience doesn’t end with the drink. To move forward in the competition, the entrant must promote their drink as best they can, the farther afield the better. So far, Chapter 4 has been featured on Social Media in Prague, Canada, New York, and across Ireland (specifically in Kilkenny, Cork and Dublin). In 9Below each drink is served with accompanying artwork and a smile from the creator himself. It’s also available in other bars as a feature cocktail and comes with a bespoke menu that features a little caricature of Stevie.
Stevie is presenting a night of Drinks, Music and Art in 9Below on Tuesday February 12th from 8pm. Read details on the event here and head along to sample a taste of the delectable Chapter 4 on the night.
His journey is being documented through his @Chapter4_2019 Instagram page, and the content is deadly.
