SmileDirectClub New Store Stephen’s Green
SmileDirectClub, the oral care company with the first medtech platform for teeth straightening, announces it will be supporting Ireland’s economy by rolling out its first storefront in Dublin’s Stephen’s Green Shopping Centre. SmileDirectClub offers a unique customer experience in their SmileShops with free appointments and include a 3D image of customers teeth with its innovative technology – and, if eligible, customers receive premium teeth whitening. SmileDirectClub’s teledentistry platform connects customers directly to affiliated Irish registered dentists or orthodontists. The Company entered the Irish market with SmileShops located in coworking facilities as part of its growth strategy. Since launch, the company has achieved more than 33,400 smiles across Ireland and the UK following its success and is now rolling out storefronts.
David Cran, Vice President of SmileDirectClub, UK and Ireland, comments: “A year on from the Ireland launch, SmileDirectClub is thrilled to be supporting the economy by rolling out its first SmileShop storefront in Dublin. With a mission to help more people realise the life-changing potential of their smiles, SmileDirectClub will continue to increase access to affordable and convenient clear aligner therapy through our SmileShops and also our impression kits.” Since its founding in 2014 by Alex Fenkell and Jordan Katzman, SmileDirectClub has served over 1,000,000 customers globally. With lockdown restrictions affecting many industries including the dental sector, SmileDirectClub provided continuity of care for its Club Members through its teledentistry platform and by quickly pivoting to offer dentist-prescribed, at-home impression kits to those who couldn’t visit a SmileShop.
Along with the new storefront launches, SmileDirectClub has also launched a new SmilePay 24-month payment plan, offering customers the ability to get the smile they’ve always wanted for just 70 Euros a month.
