Written by Dune London are pleased to announce an exciting shoes collaboration with London-based shoe designer Rupert Sanderson and we can confirm the collection is both unique and fabulous..
Launching in stores on the 1st April 2017, the collection comprises six styles in a range of colour ways, all named after spring daffodils. Sanderson’s shoes have become synonymous with understated British elegance and style. Therefore a collaboration with footwear experts and high street staple Dune London was an inevitable, seamless and aspirational concept.
Fortunes Beauty, Gracehill and Princess all in a beautiful luxe satin with scalloped edging and frayed edges epitomise Sanderson’s styling and attention to detail. With these styles, Rupert wanted to create both an open and closed shoe expression. On two different heel heights, these styles are romantic, classic and wearable. The Ella court shoe with elegant block heel and almond toe shape on luxurious kid leather reflects Sanderson’s classic signature style with a twist. The contemporary block heel creates a modern, punchy effect.
For the ‘wow’ pieces of the collection, turn to Star Girl and Blazing. Bowie inspired, these styles are available in two colour treatments of vibrant metallic red and electric blue or a more subtle mix of gold and silver in a sky high heel or a cool summer flat. The block triangle shapes, give the intricate effect of being placed around the foot whilst the ‘starburst’ tassel detailing give these styles a touch of glam rock, party fun.
