Residence Opens its Doors
30th May 2017 After nearly 10 years as a popular private members’ club on St. Stephen’s Green, Residence is delighted to announce that it has opened its doors to the public for the first time, offering regulars and soon-to-be regulars the opportunity to experience a host of exciting changes introduced under new ownership.
Occupying a magnificent townhouse in the heart of Georgian Dublin, Residence is the ideal venue for bespoke cocktail evenings, intimate gatherings, casual dining, private celebrations, weddings and corporate events.
With extended opening hours, brunch is now served every Saturday from noon and the recently-refurbished Garden Terrace is perfect for a quick lunch or lively al fresco dinner on a summer’s evening in the city.
Restaurant FortyOne at Residence, overlooking St. Stephen’s Green, is also thrilled to welcome award-winning Executive Chef Peter Byrne to its talented team.
Peter spent six successful years at the helm of renowned Sika restaurant, formerly Restaurant Gordon Ramsey, at Powerscourt Hotel Resort and Spa and almost eight years as Senior Sous Chef at Michelin-starred restaurant, Chapter One.
With his innovative, creative menu choices, Residence is excited for customers to experience the magic this passionate Dubliner can create and are confident that Peter is the perfect addition to its team.
Reflecting the ethos of Restaurant FortyOne, Peter is enthusiastic about the use of local produce, seasonal ingredients and building relationships with farmers who are passionate about their craft.
In keeping with the spirit of the former private members’ club, Residence remains committed to offering both new and familiar guests a home from home in luxurious surroundings – outstanding food and flawless service in unrivaled surroundings.
