Powerscourt Centre to Open Irish Heart Foundation Pop-Up
The Irish Heart Foundation will host an informative pop-up on the ground floor of the Powerscourt Centre from Tuesday, March 3rd until Saturday, March 7th.
The Irish Heart Foundation is Ireland’s national charity fighting heart disease and stroke through advocacy, research, prevention, and care. Each year they train approximately 100,000 people in CPR, provide free health checks to over 20,000 people, host 22 stroke support groups all over the country that help people manage the life-changing effects of stroke, develop school programmes that teach kids about heart health and lobby for policies that will make Ireland healthier and safer.
The Irish Heart Foundation team that will be in Powerscourt Centre aims to educate the public on heart health and their lifesaving work through chats along with a host of family friendly games. These games include favourites like Higher or Lower, Spin to Win, and the Pop Box Quiz. The employed methods will be a fun and interactive way to engage the public, enable them to speak about the issues surrounding heart health.
The Irish Heart Foundation will host their pop up for five days in the popular shopping centre, where their overall aim is to chat with passing visitors and to open up the conversation about heart health in Ireland. Everyone and anyone is capable of learning, engaging, and potentially supporting this wonderful organisation.
