DublinTown is going to be abuzz on 31st December as we don our party frocks and evening best, and get ready to ring in the New Year. But the big question is…where? Below is a list of all the antics happening around the city, and we’re sure one or more of these will be perfect for your New Year’s Eve plans!
New Year’s Eve at The George, 8pm, €12
Celebrate 2018’s biggest hits with Bunny and Phil T Gorgeous as they ring in the New Year with some special guests. To help this New Year’s be your best one yet, we’re selling a very limited number of Early Bird tickets with queue skip so you are guaranteed entry and can party the night away.
Exclusive Early Admission and Queue Skip tickets €12 excluding booking fee. Please note queue skip is only available from 8pm-11.45pm.

New Year’s Eve Social at Farrier & Draper, 9pm, €10-20
Sunday Social has hosted some cracking parties over the last few years. They aim to continue that fine tradition this year in the new home of Farrier & Draper on South William Street. If you’re lucky enough to get a ticket for last year’s party, you’ll know what fun they have in store for you this year again! So to end off the year they want to throw one more mega party.
Upstairs in the main club, Pop Diva Stephen Dowling will take to the decks to help you see in 2019 in fun dancy messy style! The basement of Farrier & Draper will also be open this year, with Paddy Schaill and Sean Ratchford playing the finest in-house music, and all for just €15 (or a tenner if you’re smart and get on the early bird ticket thing!).
NYE Midnight Tiki at The Liquor Rooms, 7pm, €15
Ring in the New Year by getting loose in true Tiki Style at The Liquor Rooms! Descend downstairs to their Tiki haven, grab a Tiki punch on them and break out the limbo and lei’s. Four rooms of entertainment await you, with DJ’s AOC & Dave Salicious spinning tracks until the early hours. Their bartenders will be mixing up special Tiki cocktails on the night.

One Night Stand presents New Year’s Eve at PYG & Powerscourt, 6pm, €25-35
After another crazy summer in Ibiza for the Game Over crew at Amnesia, Pacha and underground favourite DC10. The Irish and Ibizan collective team up with PYG to roll their brand new party concept “One Night Stand” into Dublin as the first stop on its global tour at the massive PYG/Powerscourt centre on NYE December 31st.
Game Over will bring its stripped back, no-frills party policy that offer clubbers a One Night Stand to remember to Dublin alongside two of the parties most talked about acts of 2018. Fuse head honcho Enzo Siragusa and man of the moment East End Dubs join Game Over residents Laughing Man and Smythy alongside some of Dublin’s finest DJ’s Aaron Nolan, Sexshop, Jake Dodd, Ryan Healy and Josh Green at PYG.
This event is all about the stripped back, no holds barred approach to clubbing. Forget the effects…when you’re there, you’re in and part of the experience…the DJs, the music and the local clubbers are all part of what makes the One Night Stand tour so special!
They want dancers who feel it like they do and expect everyone to let loose and sweat themselves dry with a smile on their face all night long.

New Years Eve House of Gold at EVERLEIGH, 9pm, €10-15

The Roaring 20s NYE Party at Cafe En Seine, 9pm, €30
Welcome to the roaring 20’s where the guys and dolls sure know how to party! Celebrate New Year’s Eve in Dublin’s most stunning venue with a party so large it would make Gatsby jealous. Let Cafe En Seine’s art deco haven whisk you back in time to the whimsy and eccentricity of the 1920’s. There’ll be live music, entertainment, theatrics, champagne, canapés and a very special live guest.

Celebrate New Year’s Eve at Lemon & Duke, 9pm €15
Ring in 2019 in our striking, stunning & relaxed bar. Doors will be open from 9pm, with a glass of Prosecco on arrival or bottle of beer. Their DJ will begin at 9pm, providing all the tunes to start off the night of celebrations. They’ll be open late so you get to spend the first few hours of 2019 in Lemon & Duke.

New Year’s Eve The Golden Age Of Parties at The Grayson, €25
The Grayson has a long tradition of glitzy parties going back to 1745 – keeping with tradition, they intend on beginning 2019 in the same manner. Enjoy their signature New Year’s cocktail on arrival, explore their bold & beautiful building and toast to the New Year under the stars in their glamorous atrium. The bartenders of The Grayson will be mixing up cocktails and pouring bubbles all night!

New Years Eve Disco Made Me Do It at Roberta’s, 8pm, €20
Follow the call of the disco ball and head to Roberta’s this New Year’s Eve! Ring in the new year under the stars as you dance the night away under our stunning glass atrium. Their DJ will be spinning tunes all night, while after the countdown, enjoy smooth sax sounds mixed with upbeat beats as a sax player performs in tandem with the DJ to a mix of favourite tracks and disco classics. Enjoy a drink of your choice on arrival on arrival where their bartenders will be mixing up cocktails all night long!
New Year’s Eve with District Magazine & The Building Society at Wigwam, 9pm, €10-15
District Magazine & The Building Society are joining forces to take over all three floors of Wigwam for a massive NYE party! From 9pm-3am there will be tunes from Hip Hop, House and Disco.
On the ground floor District have curated a line up of some of the most forward-thinking names in Irish hip hop, with MCs and DJs performing from 9pm-late; while in the basement The Building Society Agency will be showing off their roster, putting together a selection of some of Ireland’s finest house & disco DJs.
All That Glitters NYE at Sophie’s x Dean, 8pm, €20
Celebrate All That Glitters this New Years Eve at Sophie’s & The Dean Dublin! The party kicks off in the Dean where you’ll be greeted with a premium cocktail on arrival. Jump in the lift and head for the sky at Sophie’s for their exclusive rooftop party, boasting fantastic terrace views of the city – including an unbeatable view of the fireworks and sweet sounds from DJs across 3 floors.

Studio 54 NYE Party at NoLIta, 9pm, €50
On December 31st, NoLIta becomes a time machine. They’re bringing you back to New York in the ’70s, an era of glitter balls, DISCO & good times. On the night, NoLIta will be transformed into the legendary STUDIO 54, a nightclub of legend, where the biggest stars in the world rubbed shoulders & danced to the best DJs around.
For one night only, they’re pulling out all the stops & there’s only one ticket that guarantees you entry to the biggest NYE celebration in Dublin, this same ticket gets you unlimited complimentary drinks from 9-11pm (one ticket per customer necessary).

This party is using the entire building with admission from the front entrance facing the Ha’Penny Bridge. There’ll be 3 rooms of totally different music. Afro / Global / World music from the Woweembeem crew at the Whiskey Bar as you enter, Disco / Soul / House music in the main room on a Discotekken / Telephones tip, and an experimental live electronic showcase upstairs, ‘Peeling back the years’ with Acid Granny and Schindler’s Fist B2B, alongside Wastefellow live and one or two other bits TBA.
Roll up, roll up! You’ll be hard pressed not to find somewhere you wanna dance at this full Yamamori venue takeover. Not to mention the friendly staff, nice drinks and high-quality sound-systems in each room. Dublin gets some grief regarding our clubbing and live music opportunities, but hey, let’s stop and count our blessin’s for a second. Yamamori are a progressive and hard working company who care. That’s important!
NYE TBL8 Brass + Guests at The International Bar, 8pm, €10
Ring in 2019 at the International Bar this NYE! Headlined by TBL8 Brass with special guests Pleasure Dome & Thunderclap Murphy. Want to ring in the new year with something different? On New Year’s Eve, the International Bar hosts TBL8 Brass in their final gig of 2018, wrapping up a busy year with gigs at Electric Picnic, Battle for the Lake, and the Dublin Blues, Roots & Brass festival.

Spend your New Year’s Eve ringing in 2019 with the Bumfuzzle crew while you ‘dance-through-the-decades’ in Opium Club on Wexford Street. Kicking off at 11pm, their DJs will showcase songs from every decade and genre of music, weaving it into one expansive, electrifying, music history lesson. The Last New Year’s Eve at Lillie’s Bordello, 10pm
As you may have heard through the grapevine, the iconic Lillie’s Bordello will close its doors for the final time in the coming weeks… So don’t miss your chance to ring in the New Year in nostalgic style!
