With Mother’s Day fast approaching (this Sunday the 30th of March) DublinTown went shopping this week to see what was on offer for our Mammys around town and to give you, our readers some Mother’s day gift ideas & fill you in on any special promotions & events. Here are some of the events happening in the city this weekend especially for the Mums:
The 17th Annual Unicef Mother’s Day Lunch will take place on Friday, 28th March, 2014 at The Shelbourne Hotel. The Mother’s Day Lunch is a wonderful way to enjoy an afternoon with your Mam. The lunch will be filled with delicious food and beverages as well as fantastic raffle prizes. The tickets are €95.00. It’s all for a good cause as the proceeds from the Mother’s Day Lunch will go towards UNICEF’s Safe Motherhood Programmes. These programmes provide lifesaving assistance to the most vulnerable mothers and babies around the world.
Feeling Hungry? The Restaurant on Level 3 in Brown Thomas are offering a delicious Mother’s Day lunch with a special 2 course menu for €25 or 3 courses for €30. Call 01 605 6666 to make your reservation for this Sunday!
If you are looking to fill your tummies this Sunday Harry’s on the Green are offering a 3 course Sunday Lunch for €19.95 for an Adult and €8.50 for a child so why not bring all the family.
