How To Create The Perfect Subtle Valentines Look
Whether it’s Valentine’s you’re preparing for or just a night out with your girlfriends, Lancôme have just what you need to create the perfect look.
We popped into Lancôme in Brown Thomas for a consultation with Fortunato Benavoli to learn how to wear and get the most out of some of their make up products. Before beginning to apply make up, Fortunato prepped the skin by using some of Lancôme’s skin care products.
- We used was their Bi-Facial cleaner which takes off all types of eye make up including waterproof. It leaves the skin feeling cleansed and refreshed and there with no oily residue. It’s perfect for those with sensitive eyes or contact lenses.
- Fortunato then used their New Advanced Génifique anti aging serum. Targeting 10 signs of youthful-looking skin, it reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and improves the appearance of the skin tone.
- Génifique Eye Cream was the third product applied to prep the skin and tackle signs of fatigue under the eyes.
- Before applying the make up he used La Base Pro. This primer creates a smooth and radiant canvas for the perfect make up look. It’s oil free and allows make up to be applied effortlessly.
The key products Fortunato used was their Teint Idole Ultra Wear Foundation and their Custom Glow Drops. The Teint Idole Ultra Wear Foundation is designed to create any look you’re going for, depending on how you feel at the time of wearing it. The coverage you get off the foundation is perfect without feeling like you’re caked in make up.
The limited edition Lancôme Custom Glow Drops are a gorgeous shiny liquid highlighter available in four shades. Each one has a unique formula to suit different skin tones. The shades available are Rose Glow (which we used on me), Champagne Glow, Golden Glow and Bronze Glow.
