H&M Spring Summer Studio Launch 2018
This month H&M Studio Collection will again be showcasing their new SS18 collection for menswear and Womenswear at Paris Fashion Week.
The stunning new collection will be showcased at the Musee des Decoratif on 28th of February and you will be able to watch it unfold as it is streamed live on their website
Once you have seen what you like, if you can’t wait customers have a chance to buy directly after the show by logging on to their website or if you can, just pop into one of H&M’s Dublin stores like College Green or Henry St to get favourite look from March 1st.
During the show you will have the chance to see the SS18 collection featuring stunning new pieces, in clothing, shoes and accessories.
Sneak peek: Menswear and womenswear collection:
Both collections for the the launch include clean silhouetts with a relaxed vibe and have a touch of workwear influence.
The look book for the will include supermodels such as Saskia de Brauw and Clement Chabernaud. It will also include rising star Shanelle Nyasiase. The womenswear collection(as seen below) focuses on head to toe prints,with an injection of bold color in the form of flowing full length dresses,easy tunics worn over trousers,utilitarian tailoring and statement knits.
Looking at the menswear collection, the overall look focuses of classic pieces such as tailored jackets, shirting and the crewneck jumper. Within this they have played around with silhouettes, color and luxe fabrications.
The inspiration for the H&M studio collection SS18 revolves around Japans minimalist design and quiet grace. Later this year the musee des Arts Decoratifs will be featuring a major exhibition about Japan, which will celebrate 150 years of cultural exchange between France ad Japan. The exhibition will also delve into and explore Japans Influence in the western culture. This year H&M will sponsor the exhibition.
