Father’s Day Activities at Brown Thomas this Weekend

The Restaurant by Johnnie Cooke has launched a new delicious Food and Beer Pairing Menu which you can enjoy this Father’s Day, in collaboration with the Franciscan Well Brewery. Later customers can swing by Menswear Section on the Lower Ground Floor to try their luck in a special Father’s Day golf challenge as well as enjoy arcade games and pinball machines!
Running daily from this Saturday 15th June until Sunday 28th July, treat your daddy dearest to a sumptuous meal especially created by executive chef Johnnie Cooke. Let the Sea Scallop Crudo served with radish, strawberries, sea cress, samphire, tamarillo and bachelor buttons accompanied by Archway Lager tickle your taste buds to start.
And then follow with the main course of an IPA-marinated coffee-rubbed steak with beer batter asparagus, aioli, basil mashed potatoes – perfectly complimented with a Shoot the Breeze beer.
For dessert, finish off your treat meal with a mouth-watering Blue Moon coffee and cocoa flan. This light, creamy flan texture is broken down and blitzed into a rich chocolate orange sauce by the citric Blue Moon…YUM! The three course menu costs only €42.50, while the four course alternative is only a few Euro more at €49.50.
Customers can take part in a Father’s Day golf challenge and be in with the chance to win a four-ball in Ireland’s top golfing destination, The Golf Course at Adare Manor!
The Dublin and Limerick stores (Saturday 15th & Sunday 16th June) will also host a Tiger Woods PGA Tour Xbox Kinect golf challenge. Arcade games and pinball machines will be installed in the Dublin store for the weekend for customers to enjoy also!
