There’s always something great on at The Abbey Theatre and now is no different. Following runs in London and New York, Let the Right One In has come to the Abbey with a new Irish cast. This production is recommended for adults and fearless teenagers aged 13+ and will run up to January 20th2018. The Red Shoes by Hans Christian Andersen in a new version by Nancy Harris is a contemporary retelling of Hans Christian Andersen’s extraordinary fairy- tale of dance, desire, and destruction. Part theatre, part dance, this family Christmas show will dazzle your senses and break your heart. This production is suitable for children age 8+ years. If you haven’t experienced the award-winning GPO Witness History Museum and Visitor Centre then you’re missing something special. This highly immersive and engaging exhibition puts you right inside the GPO during Easter Week in 1916.
Also, up to January 7th GPO Witness History, in co-operation with the An Post Museum & Archive, will feature an exhibition to include a selection of Christmas posters, stamps and cards so you can explore the wonderful workings of the Post Office at Christmas time. The National Wax Museum Plus Dublin has a variety of fun activities, designed to cater to people of all ages and walks of life. The museum is full of characters and exhibits, from historical figures to cartoon characters, and everything else in between. As indicated by the PLUS in the name, it’s not only wax figures either.
