The tour begins with visitors being dressed in traditional chocolatier garb before watching a short film that traces the history of the cocoa bean and the story of how Butlers became one of Ireland’s premier chocolate makers. Fret not if anyone is starting to feel peckish, there will be some chocolatey treats along the way!
Next up is a stop into the interactive Butlers museum and the Chocolate Museum where you will discover some of the secrets which have kept customers coming back for over 85 years.
Then, it’s time to get your hands chocolatey in the Chocolate Experience Room where visitors will be given the opportunity to decorate their own chocolates which they are then free to take home with them. Finally, it’s time to relax with a well-earned hot chocolate and some treats to round out the day.
Butlers Chocolate Experience entry must be booked in advance and is priced at €13.50 per person. Entry includes; the Chocolate movie, Chocolate Museum, Chocolate Gallery and Chocolate Experience room. Special family rates available.
