Christmas lighting Ceremony on Grafton Street
The Christmas lighting ceremony on Grafton Street will take place today as planned.
The Christmas lighting ceremony which always attracts a large crowd, will be preceded by a one minute silence as a mark of respect to those who lost their lives in Fridays attack in Paris and to show Dublin’s solidarity with France.
The event and entertainment takes place from 4pm until 5pm, the lights will be officially turned on at approximately 5pm. The one minute of silence will take place at 4pm. The event will be held at the St Stephen’s Green end of Grafton Street.
