The Rolling Donut
From a concession in the 1970’s, a Donut kiosk that’s now become a Dublin landmark, to now numerous stores across #DublinTown, The Rolling Donut is an Irish owned and operated company that makes us proud as punch.
The original Rolling Donut was set up by Michael Quinlan in 1978. It started as a donut concession called The Rolling Donut that Michael brought to concerts, shows and festivals around Ireland in the late 70s.
Following that, in 1988 he set up the little donut kiosk on O’Connell Street that most Dubliners now know and love! 40 years later it continues to make its mark.
Lisa, his daughter, spent her childhood learning all there is to know about donuts & in 2016, she (to all of our delight) decided to expand The Rolling Donut range.
Dubliners wanted filled donuts so Lisa decided to make handcrafted sourdough & vegan donuts making all the fillings in-house.
They now have multiple stores & a team of dedicated bakers who make the now-famous donuts, fillings and toppings every day in the Dublin bakery.
They also offer free delivery in Dublin 1 and Dublin 2 and a small charge for outside the city! Donuts delivered – amazing.
