Once an old wallpaper shop inspired by designer William Morris, the bar celebrates that creative spirit through its vintage décor, framed original wallpapers discovered in the basement, and its famous “Morris Wallpaper Shop” ghost sign revealed during renovations. Inside, you’ll find a confession box door salvaged from a disused warehouse in Edenderry, Co. Offaly, and church benches from a deconsecrated church in Mohill, Co. Leitrim — creating a space where Dublin’s past meets its modern pulse.

The Morris Bar boasts a cold room directly beneath the counter, ensuring the perfect creamy pint every time — thanks to the minimal distance from keg to tap.

Downstairs, the basement room is available for private hire — ideal for parties, launches, or intimate music sessions.

Located at the back of the premises is Ceantar Pizza Company — a new, Irish-owned start-up serving delicious wood-fired pizzas. Based in Raheny and now proudly operating on Talbot Street, Ceantar brings a true taste of Dublin craft to every slice.

With its mix of history, hospitality, handcrafted pizza, and live music, The Morris Bar is fast becoming a must-visit spot on Dublin’s northside — and the perfect place to unwind.
