Exclusively at The Restaurant by Johnnie Cooke for a limited time, Brown Thomas are delighted to introduce this exciting and delicious new Bombay Sapphire infused Afternoon Tea Experience.
Guests can enjoy a heavenly gin-infused menu with savoury treats including Lambay Island crab crostini, Bombay Sapphire East macaroons, a cucumber barrel aged feta canapé and a ‘Pick Me Up Toasti’ with duck liver mousse and ginger crumb.
Sweeter treats include a gin and tonic infused Ecuadorean chocolate bar (yes you read that right..) a ‘Gin-sane’ raspberry and basil sorbet, a cinnamon canelé and a Star of Bombay verrine filled with creamy coconut, liquid raspberry and passion fruit mousse Manjari chocolate. A special Bombay Sapphire cocktail is available to compliment the afternoon tea experience perfectly.
The menu also includes a gin and tonic with a twist, ‘The Bombay Sapphire Blue Edition’ where their blue geranium paint is added to slowly change the drink’s flavour. The ‘Signature Surprise’ cocktail made with Bombay English Estate Gin, is infused in a glass teapot with Butterfly Pea tea – watch the magic transformation happen as the final ingredient is added!
