Arnotts brings science and fun together with Explorium
Written by Arnotts department store is collaborating with science and sports centre, Explorium, to bring a temporary exhibit ‘Just an Illusion?’ in store this summer.
For a limited time only, from July 1st for 2 months, the exhibit will be housed in Arnotts Gallery Space on the second floor and features complimentary attractions and exhibits for customers of all ages.
Customers are encouraged to challenge and feed their curiosity with a range of exhibits and interactive experiences from the incredible facility, from testing what it feels like in Virtual Reality with over 100 different virtual experiences to creating their very own light show and discovering how laser passes through objects. You will also be given the opportunity to create your very own human electric circuit using your friends or take a walk through the illusion rooms.
Meet the Science Guy
Head of Science at Explorium Mark Langtry, aka ‘The Science Guy’, will bring a number of live science demonstrations to the exhibit which will be held at designated times each weekend throughout the summer months.
The ‘Just an Illusion?’ partnership is a truly unique experience designed to inspire curious minds to discover the world of science and give visitors a taster of the huge range of exhibits available at Explorium’s permanent home at the base of the Dublin mountains. Boasting over 300 interactive exhibits spanning 110,000 square feet and is designed to stimulate minds to create the Ireland of tomorrow and ignite thinking, asking and discovering.
