TRENDS
The Opulent Voyager trend sees the return to eclecticism and individuality. Here, rich jewel tones in deep saturated hues are added to luxurious fabrics, providing a sense of indulgence. The brands that have truly embodied this trend are Tara Jarmon, Caractere, Reiss, as well as new brands Rodebjer, Ganni, J Lindeberg, and Cacharel.
We have also seen a return to tradition emerge, tapping into the Heritage trend. This trend is embodied with favoured pieces worn in tonal pairings and traditional craftsmanship is reworked, creating contrasts of textures appearing in classic yet contemporary silhouettes. Checks and tweed fabrications are key along with luxe wools that sit with feminine blouses and dresses. The brands that we have representing this trend are Luisa Cerano, Strenesse, LK Bennett, Part Two and new brands Rodebjer and Barbour Heritage.
The minimalist look evolves from Spring Summer into an elegant and effortless trend for Autumn Winter which we are calling the Purist trend. Luxurious materials skim the body, with soft silk crepes and jersey knits used for perfectly proportioned layering pieces. The key brands for this continuing trend are Strenesse, Tara Jarmon, Les 100 Ciels, Luisa Cerano and new brands In-Wear, Hugo by Hugo Boss, and Halston Heritage.
Urban Street is a rigorous and youthful story, melding streetwear and active influences. Easy separates are key for this trend, including slouchy trousers, long-knit tunics and the perennial puffa jacket creates a relaxed and youthful silhouette. Pivotal brands representing the Urban Street trend this season at Arnotts are Calvin Klein, Pinko, Selected Femme, BCBG and new brands IKKs and J Brand.
