How quick was that week! It’s the weekend again and as usual, DublinTown has lots of things happening. Here’s our round up for this weekend May 18 – 20

Friday 18th May
The Rollin Stoned at The Academy
If you missed the legendary Rolling Stones last night, fear not, The Rollin Stoned, will make up for it! This excellent tribute band are playing The Academy, Friday May 18th, 7pm, tickets cost €29.50 Tickets can be found here
Saturday May 19th
Arnotts Big Blue Birthday weekend celebrations
To celebrate the big blue birthday, which is 175 years of Arnotts, there’s lots happening in store this weekend. Live band The Swing Cats will perform in-store, Sat & Sun, 11:30am-4:00pm; Personalised tote bag workshop by Imaginosity, Sat & Sun, 11:30am-3:30pm; Face painting in the Childrenswear department on Sat & Sun, daytime, as well as 26th and 27th May; Traditional music MAMO will perform in-store, Saturday, 11am-4pm; Irish dance meets hip hop Slide Step will perform in-store, Sunday May 20th.
Family Day 2018 at Smithfield Square, Saturday, from 1-5pm
Enjoy a fun-filled day of free family entertainment including the creation of Ireland’s Biggest Family Tree. Children will be encouraged to take pride in their family, whatever form it may take, by drawing their family portrait on a leaf template. These leaves will be combined and displayed to create Ireland’s Biggest Family Tree. There’s also a magician, storytelling, oversized games, and more
NoLita host Ed Sheeran pre-concert brunch Saturday, 1.30pm,
For anyone heading to Ed Sheeran’s gig in the Phoenix Park on Saturday, why not enjoy lunch in the city before you go. Nolita have a special lunch offer costing €21 pp via Eventbrite, includes 1 brunch main, 1 house drink and seat on shuttle bus to Phoenix Park that leaves at 5.30pm

It’s the last day of the Dublin Dance Festival programme of events so check out what’s left before they bow out for another year. Enjoy dance artists and choreographers from across the world sharing vibrant contemporary dance with audiences in Ireland.
