5 Cocktail Experiences during Dublin Town Food and Drink Festival
The DublinTown Food and Drink Festival is taking place next week (Oct 14 – 20) and there are some very interesting cocktail experiences in our favourite Dublin venues!
If you’ve ever considered yourself to be a master in cocktail making, well now is your time to test those skills. These masterclasses will leave you thinking your the next Tom Cruise for that classic movie Cocktail, shaking and stirring like you’ve never before!
Here’s 5 Cocktail Experiences to book during the festival this year:
Coffee Cocktail at Vice – October 16 at 7pm
Price: 25
Get ready to shake, stir and sip your way through an evening of electrifying coffee cocktails! Do you know your Espresso Martinis from your Irish Coffees? Learn from their team of expert mixologists who will take you on a tasting journey of caffeine fuelled cocktail creations! All participants will get the opportunity to taste 3 unique coffee cocktails along with a selection of snacks from the Wigwam Brazilian Kitchen. The three cocktails you’ll learn to make are:
1. Espresso Martini
2. Cold Brew Negroni
3. Irish Coffee
Cocktail Masterclass and Dinner at The Mint Bar in The Westin – October 14 – Oct 20 6pm and 7pm

Let the experts prepare bespoke cocktails from The Mint Bar’s menu, whilst showing you their methods and techniques, ingredients and the cultural context behind these exclusive blends. As part of the experience, take a step into the art of mixology and prepare your own creation. After lots of mixing, muddling and shaking, you will be invited to a three-course dinner at Morelands Grill. This urban chic steakhouse serves Peter Hannan’s Himalayan salt aged meats, expertly selected and prepared by Executive Chef Paul Hickey.
Mexican Cocktail Making Experience at Xico – October 15 – 18 at 5.30pm

During this special experience, one of their bubbly expert bartenders will show you how to craft 2 of your own Mexican cocktails so you can show off to your amigos! Sound like hungry work? Each participant will also be served delicious Mexican bites after the class! Places are limited.
Sip & Paint Experience at The Church – October 17 at 6.30pm

The Church is delighted to welcome back PaintClub for a mini Paintclub where you will enjoy a short 1-hour mini Paintclub and create your one-of-a-kind art piece of Dublin’s Ha’penny Bridge. All the while you’ll be enjoying delicious bar bites and Dublin’s favourite drinks! This mini experience is perfect for beginners and experts in painting. All the materials you’ll need will be provided, including canvas, paints, brushes and aprons, as well as your cocktail and finger food too.
A Gin Cocktail Masterclass at NoLIta – October 19 at 2pm
Price: €20
the talented bar team at NoLIta will be sharing their gin expertise to show you how to give your gin cocktail that little ‘gin ne sais quoi’! They’ll be showing you how to create gin cocktails that are sure to impress and, of course, they won’t be forgetting about the most important part…drinking the cocktails! There will be two gin cocktails for each attendee as well as some delicious Italian nibbles to chow down as you drink your cocktail creations!
