Cut off of applications is 5.30pm on Friday May 29th 2015. Applicants must be available for week of Sept 8th–13th 2015.
FINALISTS
The Young Designer of the year final will be hosted as part of Dublin Fashion Festival at The Bank of Ireland, College Green at 8pm Weds, 9th Sept, 2015. Winners will be selected by elite panel of judges.

TERMS & CONDITIONS:
a. Participation in the Young Designer of the Year Competition only occurs under the terms and conditions listed herein. Participation is free of charge and independent of any purchase of goods or acceptance of paid services. In order to register for the competition, the entry form must be filled in. This form must contain first and last name, email address, telephone and/or mobile phone number, mailing address, name and address of the design college attending and year of graduation. All fields are mandatory
b. All entries must be submitted only using this form by May 29th 2015 and must include images and/or a video. No late entries will be accepted. Files should not exceed 2MB in size.
c. The entry must include a photo/photos of your piece, a written description of how your piece was inspired and why you should win.
d. This competition is open to students and graduates– strictly 18 years of age and over.
e. Applicants must submit one piece only. We will accept final year work.
f. Applicants must be available from September 8th – 13th 2015 to showcase their design publicly. All finalists must be present with their piece at the Young Designer Event on Wednesday 9th September 2015 and may be asked to accompany their piece onto the runway.
g. All entrants acknowledge that the designs they are submitting to the competition are their own original work, has not been previously published, and does not contain any trademarks, logos, copyrighted material or any other intellectual property belonging to a third party.
h. This promotion is only open to anyone aged 18 or over, excluding employees We are DublinTown and their immediate families, their agents or anyone professionally associated with this promotion.
i. Dublin Fashion Festival reserves the right to amend/alter the prize package for any reason whatsoever in its sole discretion.
j. Dublin Fashion Festival reserves the right to disqualify any contestant for any reason whatsoever in its sole discretion.
k. Prize winners must agree to
i. have their name released as the winner and will be required to participate in publicity involving print, online and other related media.
ii. Transfer of rights for the use of pictures and/or video. By entering, each entrant grants to the Young Designer Competition an exclusive, irrevocable perpetual royalty free license to use, reproduce, distribute, display or create derivative works using the submission both domestically and internationally as the Young Designer Competition wishes without further compensation of any kind being payable to the entrant or further consultation with the entrant being necessary. However the copyright shall remain with the entrant and any further commercial exploitation of the idea shall be by separate agreement with the winner.
