Step into the shadows with us on a special guided Halloween tour at EPIC. Together, we’ll journey beyond daylight to uncover the darker side of Irish mythologies and histories.
As Samhain gave rise to Halloween, Irish ghost stories and funerary traditions travelled across the world with the diaspora, blending with local customs to create new celebrations over the centuries. This guided experience will lead you through tales of spirits, rituals, and folklore, shedding light on the haunting origins of a festival we still celebrate today.
Highlights
- Learn about The Dullahan (“dark man”) a malevolent harbinger of death who served as the inspiration for the headless horseman of Sleepy Hollow.
