Animal Symbolism in Chinese Art at The Vintage Teapot
Join artist and China scholar, Heather Gray, for an introduction to Chinese art through an exploration of animal symbolism, as part of Dublin Chinese New Year 2020.
Over the course of six weeks from February 6th, you will learn the techniques of Chinese ink painting while exploring the meaning of animals in Chinese art. From the tiger, which represents bravery, to the dragonfly, which symbolises purity, this promises to be a fascinating course! All materials will be provided and the course is suitable for beginners.

Each week the class begins at 6.30pm, and concludes at 8.30pm - taking place at The Vintage Teapot on Cathedral Street in Dublin 1. The dates for the course are Thu 6 Feb / Thu 13 Feb /Thu 20 Feb / Thu 27 Feb / Thu 5 Mar / Thu 12 Mar.
