Dirty Fabulous is an original vintage boutique in the heart of Dublin, on Wicklow St. The boutique specialises in beautiful bridal and occasion wear from the 1920’s to 1960’s and beyond. It was created by sisters Caroline Quinn and Kathy Sherry who dreamed of showcasing stunning vintage creations within a beautiful boutique whilst focusing on personal attention to customers. The Dirty Fabulous team is passionate about all things vintage; the fashion, history and evocative eras.
With a hand-selected collection spanning over one hundred years of timeless and dazzling vintage fashion, Dirty Fabulous can offer couture quality tailoring and fabrics without designer prices. The owners of Dirty Fabulous believe in being true to your own individuality and style!
This fantastic and well established unique boutique started off as just a small quirky stall in George’s Street Arcade. Over the years Om Diva has transformed into one of the most adored boutiques in DublinTown. Owner and director Ruth Ni Loinsigh turned her dream into a reality and created a boutique Paradise for women. The boutique caters to a wide range of styles, from vintage and retro to the more subdued classics. The store also houses a dedicated showroom for Irish based designers providing a forum for talented young designers where they can design, sell and develop their brand under one roof. Atelier 27 is funded and supported by DCEB.
Om Diva is everything a boutique should be with approachable and friendly staff along with inspired clothing and accessories. You will find Om Diva packed inside a stylish and electric building located in the heart of the Creative Quarter on Dury Street.
Frock n Fabulous are best known for their high end designer dress and hat rental service. Designers such as Valentino, Badgley Mischka, Rachel Gilbert, Nicole Bakti, Irene Luft & Milliners – Philip Tracey, Aisling Ahern are all showcased in this fashion mecca. Since moving to their new store on Exchequer street they have also expanded into selling cool and contemporary day-wear, debs and bridesmaid dresses. At Frock n Fabulous there is always a friendly face to greet you to help you find whatever you need. This unique boutique also offers a personal styling service by their in house stylist. Retro Shop is a hidden gem in the George’s St Arcade, and has been open for nearly 25 years. The idea stemmed from the lack of vintage pieces on offer in DublinTown, as well as the difficulty in finding sizes. At Retro, customers can find sized pieces for men and woman that go from a size 8 to an 18. This unique boutique specialise in the reproduction of vintage dresses from the 1940’s and 50’s, all cut from original patterns. Retro combine this with contemporary materials, giving you a fabulously flattering outfit which has comfort and style to boot.
Carousel is another one of Dublin’s unique boutiques, which offer vintage inspired pieces. Not only do the owners, who happen to be husband and wife, sell amazing vintage pieces, they are also the proud designers and manufactures of the vintage inspired range, “Circus”. Maven was opened by Sharon Beatty in 2008, with it’s style being describes as Last-century Paris meets New York’s East Village. The boutique stocks an eclectic range of contemporary Irish designers including Sian Jacobs, Francis Campelli, and Wendy Judge. The boutique also features New York labels such as Tina + Jo, Yoon, Samantha Pleet and Tambourine and also some amazing designer bags and accessories. Sharon has also created her own-label – the ‘Ms. Beatty’ range. This range demonstrates it’s design values with a sharp, focused collection of deceptively simple pieces, in beautiful silks and cashmere. This unique little boutique is located in the heart of Wicklow Street.
