The Woollen Mills
The Woollen Mills has been one of the most iconic buildings and businesses in Dublin for over one hundred years, and to have taken over this site is a serious privilege.
The Woollen Mills are custodians of something very special… a piece of history, as it was the former work place of one mister James Joyce! As you know, The Woollen Mills Eating House offers a truly Irish experience, with produce sourced from local Irish artisans and stunning iconic views overlooking the river Liffey and the Ha’penny Bridge.
The building is over four floors and is (almost) literally on top of the bridge, with double aspect windows and a roof terrace onto the ultimate Dublin cityscape. They have their own bakery and have a large retail and take-out emphasis, so passing folk can buy any array of breads, pastries and cakes, as well as choose from a huge sandwich and salad selection during the day.
