P’Macs
P.Mac’s is fast becoming one of my favourite pubs in Dublin.
Formerly Bia Bar, P’Macs is the newly opened sister pub to Cassidys on Westmoreland street. Cassidys won best city bar 2013 at the Irish bar awards and they are looking to bring their unique flavour of good craft beers, good tunes, and a great atmosphere to their new location on Stephens street.
The playlist tends towards mid-nineties indie which appeals to the late 20s/early 30s crowd. A particularly nice touch is added by the provision of free retro crisps like Wheelies and Snax, last seen in my school lunchbox circa 1997. You can also order food in the evenings. Dublin has seen a spate of craft beer pubs appear in the last few years, but this is definitely one of the better ones.
Opening Hours: Sun – Thu 12:00 – 23:30, Fri – Sat 12:00 – 00:30.
