Madina Desi Curry Co
A diamond in the rough, Madina Desi Curry Co is run by three brothers. The business began in 2002 with a food shop on Moore Street, where the brothers’ mother made them homemade Punjabi Samosas and helped set up the restaurant. A non-alcoholic Indian restaurant, it’s not the kind of place you would sit in for hours but is well worth a visit. A starter – particularly the Masalla Dosa – will suffice as a main course as the portion sizes here are huge.
Since they have opened their doors back in 2006 they’ve won numerous awards and received great reviews from the Irish media.
In 2016, Ednan Hameed of Madina Desi Curry Co was photographed for the ‘Humans of Dublin One’ exhibition by renowned photographer Peter Varga.
