This is not about drumming, it’s about connecting with yourself and others in a fun way. All you need is a Hearbeat and a Smile. Hand built from 90% repurposed materials from all over Ireland by Dublin artist Bounce.

3. Mini Craft Village with the Design & Crafts Council
Promoting Ireland’s cultural craft heritage and celebrating contemporary makers, the Design and Crafts Council of Ireland (DCCOI) will host a mini craft village at Dublin Castle for Cruinniú na Cásca.
Drawing on the DCCOI membership – members of craft guilds, associations, networks and societies – the mini craft fair will involve three to four makers demonstrating their craft techniques and processes.
The public will also have the opportunity to get involved in a range of workshops, all of which are family friendly and suitable for young and old.
WHEN: April 17th, All Day.
WHERE: Dublin Castle
4. Hands-on Trad Music Workshop with Ceoltóirí Chluain Tarbh
The workshop enables members of the public to give playing Irish traditional music a try. No previous playing experience is necessary and instruments are provided. For those who have played before, the workshop is an opportunity to re-engage and rediscover the enjoyment of our rich heritage.
Experienced teachers from Ceoltóirí Chluain Tarbh will be on hand to help participants learn the basics of playing the tin whistle, in what is hoped will be your first step on the road to being an Irish traditional musician!
Lessons take place at 11am, 12pm, 2pm and 3pm, with open sessions for musicians of all abilities at 1pm and 4pm.
