It’s time to pull those creepy costumes out of the wardrobe and soak in some spooktacular atmosphere in DublinTown! There are so many Halloween events taking place over the long weekend, so we’ve picked out our personal favourites for the little ones in your life.

This is an event not to be missed! Macnas, world-renowned pioneers of imagination and invention, return to the streets of Dublin for the Bram Stoker Festival with a Samhain parade through the broad and narrow streets of Dublin’s Northside.

Stokerland, a pop-up Victorian fun park for families and the eternally young, will open its Gothic Gates on Saturday 28th & Sunday 29th of October in one of Dublin’s most beautiful city-parks, St. Patrick’s Park.
With one of Dublin’s most stunning cathedral as a ghoulish backdrop, this Gothic gathering of fun and games will present the macabre talents of world class street-performers alongside rides and attractions to ensure a fangtastic time for all. With food concessions, olde-worlde games, a Victorian Photo studio for spooky family portraits and more, this family friendly fun-day is the perfect way to entertain children 12 and under this October Bank Holiday weekend.

Get in the spooky spirit with Dracula’s own DJ Will Softly spinning the decks and scratching vinyl. Don’t forget your Halloween costumes!
Presented in association with Bram Stoker Festival 2016, DJ Will Softly will be spinning all the latest hits for you to enjoy while surrounded by the disco lights of The Ark’s theatre! This fun-packed and energetic DJ set will be perfect for young zombies, ghosts and all music-loving monsters. So get on your feet and have a blast!
Come along in costumes of any kind and make up your own graveyard dance moves. If you get tired from dancing you can take a break in our chill out area and you might even get to hear some mysterious Bram Stoker children’s tales.
The Wax Museum Halloween for Kids and the Mid-Term Break
Time Daily from 10 am over the mid-term break

Over the midterm break The Wax Museum will have a temporary tattoo parlour in the writers room for your special little guy or girl. They’ll have the odd character or two at hand on the day practicing tricks for the kids. They’ll also have a little Halloween themed treasure maps for the kids to find on their visit. They can tick off each clue as they find it!

Take a Ride on the Fright Side with The Ghostbus
(The Dublin Ghostbus Tour is not suitable for children under 14 years)
