Design and Violence at The Science Gallery
Design and Violence, a special co-production between the Science Gallery and The Museum of Modern Art New York (MOMA) opens on Friday the 14th of October.
This exciting venture Design and Violence, examines the myriad ways design intersects with violence, both through intent or through unintended consequences.
This project held it's beginnings as an online curatorial experiment at MoMA in 2013, and now Design and Violence takes it's turn as a physical show at the Science Gallery.
For the first time, visitors will be able to experience the show in person, exploring how art and technology is used to oppress as well as to resist, and considering the role of design in relation to our rights and bodies both in Ireland and abroad.
This is a really exciting collaboration, the show opens at 12pm on Friday the 14th, and runs until the 22nd of January.
